I would like to say a big thank you to Powerc, I have had a truely excellent buying experience with yourselves. Staff were professional, efficient and kept me informed at all times. I ordered a bespoke PC for my son on Thursday 26th May (late afternoon!) and received the PC on Saturday 28th May - amazing! Having had a throughly awful experience elsewhere it was great to deal with a company who could deliver exactly what they claim they can. I would recommend to anyone and will do. The PC was ready to go as soon as I unpacked it. Packaging excellent also. This is the first time we have used power computing and I can recommend them. Jun, 22 May 2011After looking around for 3 or 4 years no less, I finally found an outfit that could give me what I wanted. Power Computing supplied me with the most fantastic Stereo scopic 3D game system that makes my flight simulator perform at breath taking levels. It gave me back that sense of awe I experienced on my first parachute jump or my first solo in a Cessna 150. The depth perception is for real. Thank you Tom and Power Computing.

Here at last is a Professional organisation that really delivers on its website promise which is “Building the computer that is right for you”. I know because on 13 May 2011 they delivered to me via courier Interlink a computer exactly to my selected specification valued at over £1000, with no problems whatsoever. Packing was superb, the computer was inside its own original case, which in turn was placed in the centre of another cardboard container. Either side of the computer were placed plastic “air bags” and other packing materials. On top of that were traditional polystyrene materials for further protection. Included alongside in the box was the motherboard box and unused cables. The original Windows 7 Professional 64 bit operating system disc, all the drivers, instruction manuals, all there – nothing was held back at their office. I received everything. The box delivered by Interlink was not damaged in any way. Prior to receipt I received updating emails from Power Computing, one after another to keep me informed at precisely what stage my computer build was at. And finally I was given tracking information and then given an hour slot during which the package was to be delivered. They gave me between 11.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon – it arrived at 11.05 a.m. Excellent! But what was EXCEPTIONAL in my experience (over 30 years with micro-computers) was their dedication to answer ALL pre-sales questions in WRITING. And, I must say not many people are more microscopic with enquiries than myself..! On 2nd May I sent by email 19 questions, expecting the same response I have had from other companies either (NOTHING at all or prepared script-type answers to SOME of them and the others totally ignored). Many only prefer to discuss questions on the telephone. For me I want things in writing but I have found that many companies don't care and just let you go elsewhere if you insist on answers in writing. So I did... and I am so glad I made that decision. However, here I had met my match. A guy called TOM is outstanding. He answered each question in red underneath my questions. Also in great detail. And then would you believe it, on 3rd May I asked 5 additional questions, and yet again came back the answers from Tom in full. He then went over the specification I had chosen and made one suggestion where he thought the system might have a bottleneck, on the Graphics card choice I had made. I accepted his idea of change and went ahead and placed the order. Ordered on the 9th May, received computer on 13 May. Had conversations with him on the telephone. He has been with the company now well over 20 years, I forgot the precise length of time he mentioned. He has a first class sense of humor and it is a pleasure to come across a really Professional customer service representative. He knows EXACTLY what the words “customer service” mean. Thoroughly enjoys his work and it shows. Believe me if the product you require is on their website at the price you can afford then don't waste your time looking elsewhere - “they are the guys” to deal with. Totally reliable from start to finish. Just as an aside, I am retired and over the last 7 years studied on the Internet and built 3 high spec computers, but now with my wife and I having a very busy interest in 2 allotments I did not want to spend time building again. I checked out the total value of all the components going in to my computer and I only saved about £180 if I had attempted to build it myself. Then all the responsibility would be on me to deal with each of the individual companies from whom I purchased if any of the products failed. With Power Computing I received - 2 Year Parts & Labour Return to Base Warranty Including 2 Year Free Collect & Return. What is the expression ?? “It is a no-brainer !!” - Just go to Power Computing. Incidentally I have no personal interest in or attachment to the company other than I came across them via Google, enquired and ordered. This just me letting you know my own experience with them. The computer? It is an absolute delight to use, O/S and all up-to-date drivers installed. With this company you really do get what you pay for. The computer is so fast and virtually silent.
