Graham Wingrave, 29 Jul 2011I was familiar with the name Power Computing for several years from local adverts. My main PC died last Monday. I’d been due to replace it for some time as it was past its sell-by date and had been experiencing periodic random disk errors for about a year or so. I looked at the web site and put together a spec. But rather than order there and then I thought I’d visit them as they were only 25 minutes’ drive away. I ordered the machine on the Tuesday and said I’d collect it when done. They said it would be ready on Friday. I received a call late Thursday morning saying it was ready. I collected it in the afternoon and set it up on Friday. I liked the way they provided a fully patched machine. No need to sit there waiting for Windows Update. I also appreciated their pre-installing Microsoft Security Essentials and OpenOffice. I know I could have just downloaded them but it was a nice touch anyway, making you good to go before replacing with your own software if desired. Very pleased.

arron, 27 Jul 2011Took delivery of my new intel i7 computer the other day and have to say how impressed i was.............i have never bought your normal pc world, thats it like it or lump it tut in a box have always had custom built ones. This one has out shone the best i have ever bought,the internals are neatly tied together............it makes my old silent system ? sound like a jet engine it just screams class at you. Many thanks i will recommend power computing to all my familly and friends and if you have doubts about buying online compared to shops then i suggest you give these a try,i'm sure you will be pleasantly supprised when you get a top notch pc that doesn't come with just a recovery disc that sorts nothing out and costs more in the long run. Stephen Goldacre, 23 Jun 2011I was recommended to Powerc.com by two friends and I will do the same at every opportunity. After a quick phone call about how long it would take to build, I ordered iBuild Intel i5 Home/Office Custom PC online choosing the specification I required, all the time, the running total appears on the screen as you choose or change the components/spec which is excellent. I went for the collection option as I live within 30 miles and the machine was ready the following day, I also received emails to keep me upto date with the build progress. It worked out of the box and connected straight to the internet without any problems what so ever. When collecting I took my old computer in for repair, not mentioned to them before, the hard drive had died and needless to say I had not backed up the drive recently and yes, it had important data on there which would have been very annoying to have lost. However,Tom was confident that they would be able to do something to recover the data. I can only say the service was excellent, Tom kept me informed by telephone on the progress and not only did he recover the data but rebuilt the files and folders to make everything accessible again. Many, Many thanks, I can only recommend them.
