We bought two laptops from Power Computing as Christmas presents for our twin girls four years ago - they were over the moon, those laptops have had serious use and in a teenager kind of way, one screen has been damaged and the other keyboard lost a few keys - due purely to use, neither battery holds charge - both have just been back to Power Computing who had all the necessary parts, within a week the laptops were back with the girls who can now use them for their "A" levels - when we do eventually need replacements, where do you think we will go ? . . . thank you Tom !

peter, 29 Jul 2013I wanted to write this review several months after Tom and his team had completed my professional video editing machine build for several reasons, firstly because when I asked Tom to build me a lightning fast, utterly reliable editing machine for under £1,800 I knew that to purchase a machine to the spec I needed, it was going to cost me £3,500 to buy a MacPro equivalent which didn't even have Thunderbolt or USB3! or £3,200 for a PC from an online video editing machine builder. I know I was asking a lot and to be quite honest I knew that It would be extremely difficult for anybody to build a machine that fitted the bill for the price I eventually paid from Power Computing, it would be like getting the whole machine for nearly half price! Anyway to cut a long story short the machine came in under £1,800 due to Tom giving me good advice on using a different graphics card in the system to the one I had first chosen. The second reason for waiting so long to give this review was due to the deal being almost too good to be true, I needed to test the machine to the limit with dozens of large editing projects and see if the machine slowed down over time or became unstable when pushed, guess what the machine runs as good as day one, due to the SSD's it boots up in under 12 seconds and shuts in 5, the machine, due to the liquid cooling is also silent so I even get peace and quite when editing! Thank you Power Computing and especially Tom for your patience in building my machine perfect for my needs and understanding my requirements fully. If your a professional video editor or just want a real time editing solution you wont do better than letting Power Computing build your machine! Thankyou David Husband David Husband Media.

On the very rare occasions that anything went wrong, they have repaired my machines promptly and efficiently. I buy from Power Computing because their prices are competitive and for me they are 'local' which is a bonus, for on the few occasions when I have visited them, their help and friendly support has been second to none. So with the knowledge that they are always there if anything should go wrong, I offer my sincere thanks for their unfailing good service.

Nigel Robinson, 16 Jul 2013What can I say orderd Thursday told 2-3 working days arrived the next day Friday up and running Friday evening at no extra cost.This is the second computer I have bought from Power Computing the first still going strong after five years with no problems.Would recomend to any one who wants a good quality computer with great service. One word of advice when your computer arrives just check in side the case before starting up in ours the video card fan had become detached no big problem 15 seconds later cliped back on ready to go think it droped of in transit. Mike Edgar, 14 Jul 2013Hello, my computer, ordered late on Sunday night, has now arrived (Wednesday). Very quick service, I didn't dare believe it could arrive so fast, and I was pleased to have the e-mails (Mon, Tue) telling me when it had been assembled and when it was sent off. There was one slight niggle once I had set it up; my Netgear (internet network software) had not installed successfully (it was listed under Devices in the User section of Windows 8, but it said it had not successfully installed, or words to that effect), so I had to install it myself. That is the only (and a tiny) blot on my experience, the computer seems as good as I hoped so far. Thankyou again for a very good and extremely prompt service.
