About 10 years ago I bought a ready-built system from a big name brand, this was my first computer. BIG mistake major nightmare everything went wrong and I mean everything... let's just say after 6 months I got my money back. This left a very bad taste in my mouth as you can imagine. Since then I built my own systems, ordering the components from different places and spending at least a week or two trying to get everything to work, often having to send things back as they were dead on arrival, yes I've been down that road... After coming across the POWERC.COM web site i decided to take the plunge once again and buy an IBuild system ... expected the worst ... Ordered Monday 1pm, arrived Wednesday 1pm ( 48 hours ) and that's shipping half way across the country. Took it out the box plugged in the monitor, keyboard, mouse and network cables and very gingerly pressed the power button! It works ;-) YESSSSSS... straight out the box, and it gets better - if it does die in the next 2 years they collect it, fix it and send it back for FREE. As they say, it's a No Brainer ....

Unfortunately something went wrong with the motherboard; however I rang technical support and they got it shipped from me the next working day and returned a new one within 3 days, fully operational again. I am highly impressed with their service - ok, the PC went wrong but things go wrong in life, especially with internal PC components. What you want is a good warranty and a quick and efficient repair, both of which Power Computing offer. Excellent Company.

Paul Sandford, 21 Oct 2008Dear Power Computing, Many thanks for building me another excellent base unit. This one is a replacement for a computer I had built by you in January 2004. It is only recently that this one has been showing its age by lack of speed and hard drive space, so it was time to upgrade. I do a lot of photo editing and some video so lots of RAM together with large hard drives and a decent graphics card were very important to me. It virtually doubled the price of the Intel Home/Office Performance base unit, but boy is it worth it. It should keep me happy for another few years. Many thanks. Paul.
