Well, if your looking at buying a computer from this company but are unsure just go for it! I ordered a computer on behalf of my mother and father and it was amazing for the price we paid. My dad likes to play modern games and this company put together a perfect system for £500! The customer service was great, the lady who answered the phone was very knowledgeable as well as polite, and when I was put through to one of their engineers he was just as friendly and helpful. Their aftersales service was brilliant. Also i would like to add that the extra £10 or so for next day delivery is well worth it, i ordered at 1500 and it was at my door at 0900 the following morning. The service was prompt, the product as specified to a high standard, no cheap alternatives slipped in at the last minute, it was delivered on the day stated, I actually communicated with a person who gave me his name (TOM) not a code number, not an order number but his name. Contact is easy and emails are answered within a few (business) hours. My Order wasn't driven by cost, but value for money is very high. The range of customisation is wide and very commendably, Windows XP Home (and Pro) is available as an option (not a 'downgrade'). I've bought or borrowed various PCs since the late 80s. I started with an Amstrad and then went through Zeniths, HPs, Compaqs and Dells. The build-quality and components used in Power Computing's customisation exceed or equal the big, corporate products. The machine worked straight out of the box. I opted for dual-boot and both Vista and XP were up-to-date. The courier delivered well within their specified window. The packaging was neat, tidy and secure. Don't hesitate to buy from Power Computing.
