I started to use Apple Macs for my business in 1985 in the pre-press industry. I also used Macs personally up until my retirement 3 years ago in 2006. My first PC was a 17 inch laptop which I used mainly for internet banking and for wargaming, a lifetime hobby. However I missed the desktop experience so after some months of research in 2010 I decided to design my own as I need a high spec. I knew what I wanted as an end result and several companies gave me prices of up to £2250 with a 2 week lead time. I found Power Computing on the internet and after several designs and quotes I settled on a unit costing £1200. I phoned them on a Saturday and got them to look it over. They made one suggestion concerning the sound system which I accepted. I submitted my £1214 order via the internet on a Sunday, phoned them on Monday morning to see if they had received and was advised it should be with me by midweek. The PC was assembled on the Monday morning and testing started that afternoon. Testing continued until the Wednesday morning when the computer made its way to despatch. It was delivered not only to my address but to my study (I am disabled so cannot carry heavy items) at 9.30 on the Thursday morning, superbly packed. I had one small problem during assembly which was purely due to my lack of knowledge of the PC so I made a phone call. I was treated with courtesy, as I had been previously, and the problem was solved within minutes. Now that everything is assembled and running I can honestly say I am overjoyed with the appearance and the performance of the PC. To conclude, the advice and pre sales were excellent and during the assembly process I was kept fully advised on my order status via the internet. After delivery the excellent advice continued. I therefor thoroughly recommend this company not only for their finished item and their prices, but also the courtesy and knowledge of the staff and the speed of delivery from order. Sincerely G.E. Gary Knott, 27 May 2010I normally wait a little while before making a testimonial to show that I got exactly what I wanted and it is all as I expect - and working properly. I purchased my nice new PC in September 2009 and there was a problem - the cooler for the processor unfortunately fell out on its holder straight on top of the graphics card. After calling to advise this, an engineer came out the next day - all the way to the West Midlands - to reinstall it correctly. A little while later, the dvd ram drive failed. Upon calling them, a replacement was dispatched and I returned the faulty drive in a postage paid envelope. A cannot praise Power C highly enough for customer service and the overall PC. Some companies say that they have good customer service but it's when something goes wrong that we need them to deliver - which is exactly what Power C did! Excellent job and I would purchase from them again!

Following my order they kept me advised on the status - I placed the order on Monday and received the PC Wednesday. As it was a complex build, some of the components had to be ordered in as they weren't typically stocked, however in 1 week, the parts were ordered, my system was built, overclocked, tested, updated and delivered to my door! I was updated via email every step of the way and was also sent pictures of my system during the build and overclock process. I asked several questions many of which were technical and between the customer support and technical teams all of my questions were answered promptly. Email support was very fast, and I never had to wait long for a reply for anything. The system is running great and I am quite confident the system will keep me going for a good while. However if a problem did arise, I have no doubt that the customer support process to solve my problem would be as dilligent and efficient as my sale was! Thank you very much Power Computing
