Helen Murtough, 16 Mar 2007I have now bought several PCs from Power and have recommended quite a few other people to do the same because of the very friendly & helpful service from Tom and his staff. On this occasion, I placed the order on Saturday evening, changed it on Monday & the PC was delivered on Tuesday morning excellently packed and all ready to run. I must confess (sorry, Tom) to have briefly considered buying from a VERY large manufacturer but difficulties in trying to get even trivial enquiries resolved by a call centre on the other side of the world soon put me off that idea. The grass in Kempston really is greener, the price competitive too, and the service first class. Keep up the good work Power ! Best wishes

I ordered my custom built pc on a Tuesday morning and it had arrived by Thursday morning, all working perfectly with everything i needed included (cables, remote etc). My questions before purchase were answered extremely quickly, even though it wasn't during working hours! I'm so impressed with Power Computing's attitude to customers, quality pc's and excellent service - i've already recommended you to friends and family and wouldn't hesitate to order from you again myself. Mrs Nichola Mitchell, 11 Mar 2007I ordered a customised AMD base unit on a Monday, it arrived two days later on the Wednesday. Packaging was great - everything securely wrapped and intact. When I opened the box I found all the manuals, cables, and cds that I required, handily packed in the motherboard box. Even the tv-out breakout cable for the gfx card was included, which is great and something I've found other base unit suppliers don't always do - so that was really appreciated. Powered it up, all worked first time. Installed OS, everything worked great. I always order customisable base units because I 1) don't have time or inclination to put together all the parts myself (maybe back when I was a teenager, but I'm almost 30 now and a weekend spent putting pcs together just doesn't appeal anymore :) 2) BUT I like to spec the parts I want, and leave out parts I don't need or have already. So a customisable base unit for me is great. Power Computing gave me the service which was exactly what I needed. This weekend I'll be opening up the pc to put in my X-FI soundcard and some extra HDs from my old computer, so I've not seen how the inside looks yet so can't comment on how well it looks on the inside. The front usb ports on the case were wired up correctly though so I'm expecting it to all look good... I read on the website that Power Computing go back to the Amiga / Atari ST days - which then brought back faint memories of adverts in Amiga Format back in the day :) I may even have ordered 512k expansion pack for my A500 from you! Good to see a small company still doing well. So I'm one happy customer! Thanks. It's hard to find a company selling customisable base units that don't cut corners - all the previous units I've bought from other companies had such issues (missing tv-out cable, usb ports on front of case not wired in to motherboard etc) so I really value your professionalism. Thanks a lot! P.S. One thing I did find that does not apply to the company but worth knowing for customers... I installed Vista and then found that the nvidia drivers for Vista really aren't quite there yet, not as good as their drivers for XP, so anyone building a new machine for vista with an nvidia gfx card ought to check the current state of nvidia drivers... forewarned is forearmed :)

e barr, 07 Mar 2007I bought this PowerC PC (hand built to my spec. 3.06Ghz) about 5 years ago and its still one of the fastest around. The service, staff and prices are the best around (they actually know what they are talking about). I recommend Power C to my friends and family who also buy from them.
